Stefaney takes a high-energy, ‘let’s do this’ approach to everything she does. With honesty, integrity, and a genuine interest in connecting with people, Stefaney is a trusted coach and advisor, who has the ability to help others identify core issues, see order in the midst of chaos and keep a level head to lead others through. Just be prepared to laugh along the way.

As former Director of Operations for a small business partnership, Stefaney led a remote workforce to achieve growth and long-term success. Always keeping her sense of humor intact, Stefaney faces challenging situations with her motto, “Tuck and roll, and keep going!”

After graduating from The University of Florida with a BS in Public Relations (Go Gators!), her professional adventures took her from managing PR at a children’s museum on the Texas/Mexico border to working in project management, corporate affairs and investor relations for a pharmaceutical company in Miami. Stefaney then worked in sales before taking a leap of faith with her spouse to build a business in the programming niche.

Stefaney earned her MBA from Kennesaw State University. She is a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™) and Heart of Leadership Coach®. She has also completed her Designated Trainer certification for the Everything DiSC® Assessment Suite and launched Mind Your Biz to leverage her strengths in pursuit of helping other businesses succeed. In her free time, you will find her cheering on her three children at sporting events, organizing a neighborhood soiree, or doing laundry, because as everyone knows, it never goes away.

Katie thrives when connecting people, finding common interests, and exploring the possibilities. She gravitates to the role of chief communicator and facilitator, coaching others to maximize and achieve their goals. She’s the type of person that strangers share their life story with, even in the airport security line (based on actual events).

Spending 20 years in the corporate world, Katie began her career as an HR Assistant in the Financial Services industry. Never one to be stifled by the status quo, Katie wrote and re-wrote her job descriptions along the way, moving into the role of Director of Human Capital with an HR Outsourcing organization. She then shifted gears to lead client business start-up, structure & messaging initiatives for political and advocacy campaigns, while creating her own path with Mind Your Biz.

Katie earned her undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management from Florida State University (Go Noles!) and completed her MBA at Georgia State University. Katie is certified as a Registered Corporate Coach (RCC™), Heart of Leadership Coach® and is a Designated Trainer and Practitioner for the Everything DiSC® Assessment suite. Bringing her talents to Mind Your Biz, Katie continues to lead and develop others in their pursuit of success. In addition to her day-job, Katie can be found in her mom-taxi navigating the streets of suburbia and coordinating the activities and adventures of her three children.
